Wintertime in Cabinville is quite a sight.
The fresh cut green grass turns into a snow playground. The rich red and orange trees lose their leaves and turn into brown statues. Shaped icicles grow along rooftops, door frames, and whatever they can find.
The winter climate in Cabinville always stays in the middle. It usually gets around 50 during the day, but usually hits 20 at night. Cabinville does get a lot of snow, but it does not come down in feet. The inhabitants will usually get inches at a time, never feet of snow at once.
This makes it very convenient to live there. You can enjoy the snow and know it will pass by quickly, and chances are high you will not need to shovel. In fact, it has been thirteen years since Cabinville has seen a blizzard.
A big reason why it is convenient to not have a lot of snow or below freezing temperature is because of travel.
Most of the time, people get around Cabinville on bikes. You usually learn how to ride when you are around five years old, and it stays with you for the rest of your life.
There are many reasons why Cabinville chooses to use bikes instead of cars.
First of all, you stop pollution. It is impossible for all that gas in the air to be helping people and animals. Second, you get exercise. You bike to get to where you want to go, and at the same time stay healthy.
Third, it is much more affordable. Spending $200 on a new bike every few years is much better then spending tens of thousands on a car! And fourth, biking can make people closer together.
Very often, friends are made when people see each other on bikes. They will bike together one day, the next day, and soon days will turn into weeks.
So to end this post, look at the winter wonderland outside and consider going for a good bike ride.
50’s during the day? I wanna be there! How long will it take to get to Cabinville from New York? Great story!
Thank you for commenting! It depends on how long it would take to get there, are you going the North Pole route or the Amazon Jungle route?
